T.E.R.P.S.

Terrapin Educational Research Program of Savannah

T.E.R.P.S. is an umbrella organization which includes professional biologists, citizen environmentalists, University students and faculty, veterinarians, and centers of biological learning who are dedicated to the conservation of the Carolina diamondback terrapin in the Greater Savannah Region and the Georgia lowcountry. We work in collaboration with the Armstrong State University, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, the Oatland Island Wildlife Center, the University of Georgia, the National Park Service, the Georgia Department of Transportation, the Diamondback Terrapin Working Group, the Savannah Morning News, and the WTOC TV News.
