Student Support Services

Counseling CenterThe Counseling Center is where students can go to participate in programs and receive services designed to help them handle day-to-day challenges and encourage their personal growth and development. This center also handles Medical Withdrawals. The Counseling Center is staffed by clinicians who provide services on an individual, relationship, and group basis at no additional cost to those enrolled as full-time students at Georgia Southern.

Captain’s Cupboard Food PantryThe Captain’s Cupboard is a food pantry that serves as an emergency food program for students, faculty, and staff in need.  We offer a bag of food to those who are eligible every other week.

Report an IncidentGeorgia Southern University is concerned about the safety and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff.  In an effort open the lines of communication across campus, we have created this incident report form.   This form provides an avenue for all faculty, staff, and students to report disturbing or suspicious activity to the Dean of Students Office.  This information will be passed along to the Office of Student Conduct, University Housing, and/or the Behavior Assessment Team.
