Too much food? Locals need it!

SARC has started donating excess produce during the COVID-19 pandemic, including big bundles of chard, kale, chives, and lettuce.

• Second Harvest, a local food bank in the Feeding America network
• Pounce & Spudnik, local businesses packing lunches for homeless Savannians

With the help of the on-campus #aquaponics farm, #GeorgiaSouthern #ArmstrongCampus students Alexis Neal and Alex Quach donated 20 pounds of produce to Pounce and Spudnik, two #Savannah restaurants that are feeding the homeless and their pets during the coronavirus pandemic. pic.twitter.com/5irJ3y7I9X
