How to Join ROTC

There are many options available to those students looking to join ROTC. Please note that Georgia Southern only offers Army ROTC.

Below, we have listed the available enrollment options for potential Cadets. Incoming freshman Cadets should also view important information regarding on-campus housing, SOAR, and ROTC Welcome/Orientation activities.

All interested students, including those needing to schedule their interview for the National Scholarship or Green to Gold application, should contact Mr. Keenan Gamble, Scholarship & Enrollment Officer, at 912-478-0040 or kgamble@georgiasouthern.edu.  Please be sure to complete a Prospect Questionnaire!

TYPEDESCRIPTION
ScholarshipArmy ROTC offers both National List and Campus-Based Scholarships. 2YR, 3YR, and 4YR scholarships available.
Non-ScholarshipCadets who have not been awarded scholarships and are not enlisted in the National Guard or Reserve.
Simultaneous Membership ProgramNational Guard and Reserve Soldiers can earn their commission. Scholarship and Non-Scholarship options available.
Lateral EntryThose Cadets entering the ROTC program after their first semester of college and are not Basic Course qualified must attend Basic Camp for one month at Ft. Knox, KY.
Green to GoldActive Duty Soldiers can obtain their degree and their commission. Scholarship and Non-Scholarship options available.
Army NursesNursing Scholarships are available as 2YR, 3YR, and 4YR options to top Nursing candidates, both National List and Campus-Based.
