Army Nurse Corps Celebrates 115 Years!
Representatives from 6th Brigade Army ROTC, Ft. Stewart, and Georgia Southern University gathered Monday, February 1 to honor 115 years of the Army Nurse Corps. The Eagle Battalion was recently recognized as the top Nursing program in 6th Brigade and was selected to host this year’s festivities.
The guest speaker was COL Patrick Ahearne, MEDDACC Commander at Fort Stewart.
School of Nursing Professor Dr. Ursula Pritham, Nursing Chair Dr. Sharon Radzyminski, Interim President Jean Bartels, and Cadets Karaline Schmitz, Jenny Garcia, and Tyauna Ellison performed the ceremonial cake cutting.
