Newton’s Laws

Activity Summary
Students are introduced to the idea of force and how that relates to weight. Students will execute examples of Newton’s three laws of motion: the law of inertia, force equals mass times acceleration, and every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Students will also calculate the amount of force exerted by two objects colliding with one another.

Grade Levels
