Dragonfly Nymph Toxicity
A week long experiment is set-up to show how household toxins can affect aquatic organisms. Students will get to see how parameters such as toxin dose and exposure time can affect the outcome. Dragonfly nymphs are used due to their abundance and sensitivity to toxins.
1. Set up a toxicity experiment using control groups
2. Understand how toxins move through the environment and bioaccumulate
3. Gather biological specimens
