Green Build Models

Activity Summary
Many companies are seeing the benefits of green building design and are jumping on the band wagon! Green building designs help companies by saving money, increasing profits, reducing waste, reducing the use of resources, increasing employee productivity, and improving public perspectives of the company. In this activity you will design and build a model of a green building from which your company will run its business. Think of ways to make your company sustainable. This means that you
should consider all the inputs (energy, water, resources) and outputs (pollution, CO2, garbage) and try to close the system. In order to close the system you must reduce inputs and outputs. The easiest way to do this is to use sustainable technologies and reduce, reuse, and recycle.
