Zheni Utic joined the Georgia Southern faculty in 2021 as an Assistant Professor. Her research interests are concentrated in the machine learning domain in cyber security, especially the application of MDP and Reinforcement learning in Intrusion Detection Systems. She likes classroom in-person and online teaching. She also enjoys supporting and encouraging students to develop their potential and helping them to be successful in their academic endeavors.
