Selection of Recipients for the COSM Award of Excellence
Each year, the College of Science and Mathematics Award Committee will recognize and reward outstanding contributions of COSM Faculty Members in areas of Teaching, Research and Service. One Award of Excellence will be made annually, in each of the three areas. The deadline for COSM Awards of Excellence nominations is 26 March 2021. All completed application materials should be sent electronically to Lance McBrayer in the COSM Dean’s Office, no later than 7 May 2021.

Selection of Recipients for the COSM Staff Award of Excellence
The College of Science and Mathematics wishes to recognize the hard work and excellence of our staff members, who support our mission of education, research, and service. In their honor, we have established the COSM Award of Excellence for Staff. This award, to be given annually, will recognize in writing and at the Fall COSM College Convocation of Faculty and Staff the achievements of a staff member within the college. An award of $500 and a ceremonial plaque will also be provided.
Eligibility: Only regular Classified and Professional Staff employed for a minimum of one year are eligible. Not eligible: part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at Georgia Southern. Note: Regular Classified and Professional Staff members taking courses at Georgia Southern through the TAP (Tuition Assistance Program) are eligible to apply. Previous award winners are ineligible to be nominated for three years after winning.
