Field Biology, Evolutionary Ecology, Invasive Species, Plant Ecology, Principles of Biology 2 Lab

Research Interests
I am broadly interested in evolutionary ecology, behavior, biogeography, and systematics. Current research topics in my lab include the ecology of invasive ants; the role of extrafloral nectaries in the transition of nonnative plants from introduced to invasive species; sexual dimorphism in orthopterans; dispersal strategies in duckweed; the behavioral ecology of tiger beetle larvae; and the composition of local lichen, bryophyte, and fern communities.
