Pre-medical and Pre-professional Concentration

The Pre-medical and Pre-professional concentration is for students who plan to pursue opportunities in dentistry, medicine, optometry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, physician assistant, and other health related careers.

  • Study Abroad Course at the BIOL 3000, 4000 or 5000 level approved by the Department Chair

IV. Additional Requirements

  • At least 1 course in areas II or III must have a  lab component
  • An elective course can only count in section II or section III
  • Capstone courses are capped at 7 credit hours for the BS Biology degree
  • Students are limited to declaring 1 emphasis
