SFC Stephen Graves
Sergeant First Class Stephen Graves joined the staff at the Eagle Battalion in Summer 2015. He was born in Temple, Texas and was raised in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He entered the Army in September 2004 and attended Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Bliss, Texas where he graduated as a 14T, Patriot Launching Station Enhanced Operator/Maintainer. He served with the 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment in Ansbach, Germany, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Suwon, South Korea and Osan, South Korea. He moved to Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. In 2012, he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and later deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve.
Sergeant First Class Graves’ military education includes the Senior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Warrior Leader Course, Master Resilience Trainer Course, TC-AIMS II, Unit Movement Officer Deployment Plan, Master Driver Trainer, Equal Opportunity Management Course, Combatives Level 1, Unit Prevention Leader, Combat Life Savers Course, Unit Field Sanitation, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Troy University.
Sergeant First Class Graves military awards include Army Commendation Medal (3 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (4 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medals (3rd Award), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (1 Service Star), Global War on Terrorism Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 3) and Marksmanship Qualification Badge (Expert). Sergeant First Class Graves is a member of the Order of Saint Barbara and the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.
Sergeant First Class Graves and his wife, Sydney, have two children, Alexis and Stephen, Jr.
