Mrs. Allison Rainey

Mrs. Rainey is the Senior Administrative Assistant and has been employed with the Eagle Battalion since Fall 2010. She is one of only four University employees at the Eagle Battalion and oversees the administrative and staff assistants within the department.

Additionally, Mrs. Rainey is responsible for the admin requirements for all non-contracted Cadets from the time they walk in the door until they officially contract, as well as, course registration for the department. She is the official photographer for all ROTC events and manages the department’s website and social media. Mrs. Rainey also serves as the university’s student organization advisor for the ROTC Cadet Association.

She was presented the Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service — the fourth highest honor the United States Department of the Army can bestow upon a civilian — for her work with the Eagle Battalion. Mrs. Rainey has twice been nominated for Georgia Southern University Alumni Association’s “40 Under 40” and the University’s Staff Merit Award, winning the merit award for the 2016-2017 school year.

With an abundance of “True Blue” spirit and Georgia Southern memorabilia, Mrs. Rainey’s office is easily one of the most recognizable offices on campus. She and her husband, Jahmal, are both graduates of Georgia Southern.
