Dr. Shahnam Navaee is a Professor of Civil Engineering and Construction Management at Georgia Southern. His primary interests are in the areas of Engineering Mechanics and Educational Research. Prior to his current faculty appointment, Dr. Navaee served as the interim Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering. He has also served as the Associate Dean of the College of Science and Technology and Affiliate Director of Project Lead the Way. Dr. Navaee was selected as Georgia Southern’s first Faculty Fellow in 2001, and was also selected to serve as one of the Governor’s Teaching Fellows at the state level.
