Simple Machines

Activity Summary
Students are introduced to the different types of simple machines and their functions. Students will be challenged to identify simple machines they come in contact with every day. Students will also discern a means of accomplishing a task using the least amount of force and calculate the mechanical advantage received from using an inclined plane.
