Apply to MBI: Graduate Students

If you would like to be considered as a candidate for admission to the MBI program for Fall 2014 you must complete your undergraduate degree by May 2014. Deadlines indicated below will allow for full-program consideration of your application.

  • Complete the Perspective MBI Fellow form below and submit it on or before March 1, 2014.
  • Complete the Georgia Southern University graduate school application for admission to the biology graduate program. You are strongly encouraged to begin the application process as soon as possible. The Biology department deadline for admission is April 1, 2014. Please visit the GSU College of Graduate Studies (COGS) site at: http://cogs.georgiasouthern.edu/gradprograms.htm. The application form is located at: http://cogs.georgiasouthern.edu/admission/start/applynow/  . The COGS deadline is March 1, 2014.
  • You are encouraged to visit the Georgia Southern University campus and speak with the Biology Graduate Program Director, Dr. Lance McBrayer and perspective research mentors. To schedule a visit, please contact COGS at 912-478-5384 or email narondawright@georgiasouthern.edu.
  • Appointments should also be scheduled with MBI Director, Dr. Laura Regassa, and current MBI fellows by contacting the MBI Program Coordinator, Janee Cardell at 912-478-1923 or jcardell@georgiasouthern.edu.

Selection of MBI Program participants will begin after the April 1, 2014 deadline and acceptance notification will be after that deadline.
