Dr. My research has focused mostly on urban human and physical environment using GIS methods and spatial modeling. For human environment, I have been examining the patterns of human behaviors and urban functions based on urban big data, such as volunteered geographic information (VGI) or more generally, user generated contents (UGCs). For the physical environment, I have been investigating the process of land use, particularly urban green space change and its environmental consequences. The goal of my studies is to search for strategies and planning polices to reach sustainable urban development and healthy living environment.
