Research Interests
Systematics of hard ticks (family Ixodidae) with special emphasis to most taxonomically difficult genera and groups of species. Current research activities include: taxonomical revisions of theHyalomma ticks of the world, Asian Dermacentor species, some African Ixodes and Haemaphysalisgroups of species, description of new species from several tick genera, phylogenetic relationships in Rhipicephalinae lineage.
